In support of Minnesota's private colleges and universities and their students, we welcome unrestricted and scholarship gifts. Giving options include:

Unrestricted, general operating gifts
These are the most difficult dollars for the colleges to raise, but essential to helping our member institutions meet budgetary needs. Your gift will fill library shelves, supply cutting-edge technology and equip computer and scientific laboratories.

Student scholarships
Scholarship gifts allow Minnesota’s private colleges to build strong financial aid packages for students with demonstrated financial need as well as those historically underrepresented in higher education. Several options for scholarship support exist:

• Program scholarships
  Students are competitively selected and must be engaged in the community through service projects, mentoring or participating in urban classrooms.  Establishing a program scholarship requires a leadership gift to launch the program and pay for ongoing administration and evaluation.
• Named scholarships
  Donors establish a scholarship in their name; often to support students studying in their industry and/or to meet other business objectives.  Donors may specify criteria.  Requires a minimum gift of $17,000 ($1,000 per campus).
• Pooled scholarships
  Donors contribute any amount to a pooled fund that gathers many smaller gifts together. Each has a specific focus.
