Henry Jakubowski, Professor of Chemistry, College of Saint Benedict / Saint John’s University

Jakubowksi is professor of chemistry and founder of the CSB/SJU Chinese Summer Research Exchange Program. Students from CSB and SJU are spending six weeks doing research in China with Chinese professors and Chinese student partners. At the end of June, the CSB, SJU and Chinese students will return to Minnesota with their eight Chinese partners for six weeks of research here.

Jakubowski has been a chemistry professor at CSB/SJU since 1988. He was the recipient of the first Tom Creed Memorial Award for Effective Electronic Pedagogy in 2001 — recognizing CSB/SJU faculty who excel in applying technology to teaching and learning.
