Wendt, an attorney, was reappointed last fall to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, an international dispute-resolution body created in 1981 at the urging of the International Olympic Committee and was recently admitted to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London. Wendt is a nationally recognized authority on anti-doping efforts in athletics and recently was named to the LPGA’s anti-doping panel (golf may be an Olympic sport in 2012). Wendt also has done legal work for USA Swimming and has a long history of involvement with the sport at every level. |
