Wendt’s areas of expertise include sports law, Olympics policies and business, arbitration issues and swimming. 

Wendt, an attorney, was reappointed last fall to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, an international dispute-resolution body created in 1981 at the urging of the International Olympic Committee and was recently admitted to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London. Wendt is a nationally recognized authority on anti-doping efforts in athletics and recently was named to the LPGA’s anti-doping panel (golf may be an Olympic sport in 2012). Wendt also has done legal work for USA Swimming and has a long history of involvement with the sport at every level.
